Schedule a 45-minute assessment with Hyam.
Coordinate with Hyam for a trial class, if you'd like, before registering for the month.
Small classes, real value —
and never losing a session
A quick note on how our classes work this fall, and the thinking behind it.
My goal is simple: keep our classes small and genuinely high-quality, keep them a real value for what you pay, and make sure life's inevitable curveballs never mean you lose a session you've paid for. Here's how it all fits together.
Why the classes are small
Every class is capped at 5 people, so you get real coaching and real attention — not a crowd. And the cost of each class is shared across the group, which means the fuller the class, the less everyone pays. When you bring a friend, everyone's rate goes down. (Full per-person rates live on my site.) Classes are billed monthly, in advance — plus a 2% fee if you pay by Venmo.
You won't lose a session — here's the promise
Travel, sick kids, a brutal night's sleep — life happens. So if you miss your class, you don't lose it. It works like this:
- Tell me within 48 hours of your class time that you'll miss it. A quick text or email — that's all it takes.
- That earns you a — a make-up credit, saved to your name.
- Spend your cookie on a spot in a make-up class:
Pick whichever fits your week — either one works, whatever length your class is. Just use your cookie within the same monthly cycle, so a make-up is always for the month you missed and nothing piles up.
One happy side effect: because a missed class is never wasted, adding a second class is low-risk. If you've been on the fence about training an extra day, this is the month to try it — if life gets in the way, your cookie has you covered.
Why the 48 hours — the honest part
The 48-hour heads-up isn't red tape. It's what lets me plan a good session and offer make-up spots fairly to everyone who needs one. It also keeps the whole thing sustainable for me — so I can keep offering it month after month. In short: cookies are for genuine misses, communicated in time; make-up classes are capped at 5 like everything else. That's what protects the quality — and the price — for all of us.
The schedule grows with you
My hope for this is simple: more classes, more often — growing naturally as we fill up. These make-up classes aren't set in stone. When a slot keeps filling up, it graduates into a permanent class, and I open a fresh make-up in its place. I'd much rather add classes because you're showing up and asking for them than guess at times in advance. So the schedule grows out of real demand — shaped by you, week by week.
Why no class passes or punch cards
You might wonder why I don't just sell packs of drop-in classes. It's a deliberate choice: this is about consistency and community, not drop-ins. When the same faces show up each week, you build real momentum, the coaching picks up where it left off, and a little group forms that roots for each other. A steady spot — with the cookies as your safety net for the weeks life gets in the way — gives you both the consistency and the flexibility, without losing what makes a small group special.
This month is a trial — for all of us
This first month is a trial run, and that goes both ways. Nobody's locked in beyond this month — not you, not me. We try it, feel out the rhythm, and agree together on what's working and what we should tweak. No long-term commitment on either side — just a month to find our groove.
That's the whole idea: small classes, honest value, and a real safety net so you always get what you pay for.
